This book lets you imagine what it would be like to live on Mars! Mars is inhabited by several groups (or colonies) of people from different countries on Earth. Bell is a boy who lives in the American colony with some adults and other kids. They are a family. Everyone in their group works together to grow food, empty dust from the air filters, and fix lots of broken equipment. The kids in Bell’s American colony are not allowed to communicate or interact with people from the other colonies on Mars- and the kids don’t know why. Then one day all the adults in Bell’s American colony get really sick. Bell and his friend Trey decide they need to travel to another colony on Mars for help. Will the other colonies help them?
