Review: Anna and Caleb’s mother died when Caleb was born. Caleb is always asking Anna for stories about their mother. Their papa knows Anna and Caleb need a new mama. The trouble is, Anna, Caleb, and their papa are farm homesteaders who live in an area without very many people. Their father writes to a woman named Sarah who lives out east, to see if she would like to be Anna and Caleb’s new mama. Sarah decides to come and visit their farm. Will Sarah like living on a farm in the prairie? Anna and Caleb sure hope so, especially after they discover how wonderful Sarah is! This book will touch your heart. You will wonder, just like Anna and Caleb, if Sarah will like their farm and want to stay forever.
