He describes himself as looking a bit like E.T. or the Emperor from Star Wars. Auggie, his sister, and his friends all describe what it is like to deal with the reactions of people to Auggie’s appearance. This book is similar to Out of My Mind because it reminds you of the obstacles people try to climb over.
