Review: Everyone should have a teacher like Mr. Terupt. He understands 5th grade kids. Mr. Terupt knows when someone is messing around in the bathroom, he can talk to the “mean girl” so she understands her behavior is not o.k., and he knows which kids need friends. Then something horrible happens in his classroom, and all the kids are devastated. This story is told from the point of view of several different students in the class. You will rush to finish Because of Mr. Terupt, to see if this classroom can be made “right” again.
