Bud lives during the Great Depression and has had a difficult life since his mother died. He spent time between several crummy foster homes and an orphanage. After running away from the orphanage, Bud decides to try and find his father. He has a couple of clues as to the whereabouts of his dad and goes on a dangerous journey to find him. This story will surprise you because there are a couple of “twists” you will not see coming.
